Benefits

The location and tight schedule meant that a steel fibre reinforced concrete foundation was the preferred option because it was easier to construct, involved less trades / people on site and was significantly quicker to build. The robust quality control process, which is done at the batching plant, meant that the engineer could confidently specify the Dramix 5D65/60BG steel fibre reinforced concrete option which was quicker, easier and more cost effective than the traditional reinforcing bar cage option.
