This new 14,600m2 facility is the first of many to be constructed around the world for manufacturing electrolysis for the production of Hydrogen.
FFI and Hutchies needed a high quality flat floor for the mostly automated facility, and Dramix was the obvious choice.

McVeigh Consulting again specified a “Seamless” Dramix 4D Combi Slab for the 22,000m2 Container Park to handle the huge loads from the massive forklifts and stacked containers.
Dramix Jointless slabs were used for the 15,000m2 internal warehouse as well.
And on top of that Dramix was used in the Footings throughout the facility too.

Application: Dramix 4D Combi Slab / Dramix 3D Jointless Slabs / Dramix Footings

30,000m2 Internal Warehouse with 9 Tonne Heavy Post Load

5,000m2 External Heavy-Duty Container Pavement

When constructing large, jointless, restrained warehouse slabs, there are only two options. A conventionally reinforced slab with two layers of heavy mesh, or the much more economical Dramix Combi Slab solution utilising 4D Dramix fibres and a single layer of mesh.

Comsi Slab also proves an excellent option for external yard slabs, providing large joint-free bays that are economical to construct.

Tomkins Commercial and industrial Builders recently completed the new retail store for Total Tools using the tried and tested solution of a Dramix Jointless Slab. McVeigh Consultants had no hesitation in specifying this solution even though it was going to be used for public access, and the quality of the finished floors speak for themselves.
