When Qucon, one of Brisbane’s newest builders, were ready to start pouring footings on their Goodna project, experience told them that using Dramix steel fibres would make things a lot faster and easier than having to fabricate and place conventional reinforcing cages. Heidelberg Materials were able to drop the concrete straight from the chute of their trucks into the excavated holes, without having to worry about disturbing bars or potential of inclement weather.
