What is meant by ductility?

Ductility is measured by beam – or plate tests. The value measured is post-crackresistance, expressed as equiv. Flexural strength (N/mm?) or energy absorbtion (J). The tests are standardized and used to describe the material property in order to provide the engineer with a design value and allows to specify the fiber concrete in an objective manner.
