Built in 2016 this truck stop is located in Karratha, North West Western Australia. The facility is located on the North West Coastal Hwy, servicing many travellers and heavy haulage vehicles in the area.

Cockburn Shopping centre upgrade was a top down construction method, fairly new to Perth back in 2013 / 2014 and designed via Airey Taylor Construction. So, it was very pleasing that ATC adopted a fibre solution for the carpark basement slab on this project. It’s a great example of SFRC and is easy to access should you like to see how well a Dramix SFRC slab performs.

A Combi Slab (steel fibres + mesh or bar reinforcing) solution was used for the Internal Warehouse Slabs, the External Pavements as well as Rail Track Slab.

Dramix 4D 65/60BG at varying dosages was combined with conventional bar reinforcing for the track slabs and various mesh options for the internal slabs and external pavements.

Tomkins Commercial and Industrial Builders recently completed the new Distribution Facility for Miele appliances at Brisbane Airport. Tungsten Structures engineers worked closely with BOSFA and Menard Oceania to design this facility as a Dramix fibre only Slab-on-Piles using a CMC piling system.

Elizabeth Quay is a mixed-use development project in the Perth central business district. Located on the north shore of Perth Water and centred on the landmark Swan Bells, it was named in honour of Queen Elizabeth II during her Diamond Jubilee.
BOSFA and Dramix are very proud to have been involved in this iconic project, construction of the SFRC slabs started in 2012 and completed some 12 months later. As you meander around this fantastic precinct, be rest assured you are walking on Dramix SFRC concrete pavements, clad with magnificent locally sourced granite paving. Even the curved steps and seats are all resting on Dramix SFRC.

When constructing large, jointless, restrained warehouse slabs, there are only two options. A conventionally reinforced slab with two layers of heavy mesh, or the much more economical Dramix Combi Slab solution utilising 4D Dramix fibres and a single layer of mesh.

Comsi Slab also proves an excellent option for external yard slabs, providing large joint-free bays that are economical to construct.

Tomkins Commercial and industrial Builders recently completed the new retail store for Total Tools using the tried and tested solution of a Dramix Jointless Slab. McVeigh Consultants had no hesitation in specifying this solution even though it was going to be used for public access, and the quality of the finished floors speak for themselves.
